Royal Opera House

Ensemble+ was delighted to participate in the Royal Opera House’s Family Sunday series, presenting two interactive and educational concerts for children and their families. The programme combined elements of classical music with playful, audience-led improvisation, inviting young listeners to shape the music in real time.

Around the world in 45 minutes

Two performances that explored the dialogue between established classical repertoire and spontaneous creation. Programmes included works by Schubert and Bartók, woven together with real-time improvisations shaped by audience suggestions.

NW Live arts at King’s Place

.As part of a project led by NW Live Arts, the ensemble joined musicians from diverse traditions, including Kora player Sontou Susso and Daegeum player Hyelim Kim, for a cross-cultural concert at Kings Place. Ensemble+ participated in workshops and creative sessions with individuals experiencing homelessness in the lead-up to the performance, working together to share stories and co-create music.
